Here I lay between cotton and skin. Bones and ash of what was and what is to become.

I harbor names, like ships they sail into my mouth and mind. My own has flown far away on western winds. My time has slipped from my g r a s p.
I cannot wait here for it to return to me.

Nameless among faceless greedy hands that grindgrindgrind against me gnawing like teeth. My bones were given to another and I am rebuilt.

Polycarbonate skeleton, like my bike I am custom factory made.

Supernova Break DownI.

A peach upon cotton, her surface rolls up and around and around in infinite circles of atoms that arrange the music of her anatomy. She is orchestrated by the softest rise and fall of a breath, only to crescendo the curve of her neck. A purr vibrates beneath the skin, strings a tremolo.

Stars swirl her shoulders, a map to her underneath. Each for every year, a few in between to mark catalytic change. Clusters tell stories of turmoil and tribulation. There is a blossom across the bow of her leg, a chain reaction of supernovas and dying stars.

A handmade violin, dimpled with care, each piece and part meticulously press

New York Minutesacross the park pigeons lift off
a snow storm in june of feathers
the soft down caught in pools
left by the rain of yesterday

splish splash and laughter
uniformed girls dashing through
the swish of skirts and book bags
a new york minute passes

an infants strangled cry
his mother adjusting him
adoration love distraction
she never saw it coming

pages turn, the end of a book
the sleeves close around it
woosh of the air compressed out
every thing must end.

Machines ticked and she sat straight up leaning out to touch her toes as she listened with lizard green eyes even though a tube wrapped itself around her like a choking vine.

He told her the truths that no one new.

"Hey. Language. I'm still twelve..."

"Heh, sorry: dang, she was the prettiest thing but she looked so sad."

Justice was older than this elf child. Mortal lines sunk his eyes and sometimes they filled with tears but there and then they glittered with humor.
